The holidays are coming up (or they’re officially here, if you’re the type to put your Christmas tree up early) and there’s no better time to start watching holiday movies than the present.

Luckily for us, Twitter user @SleepyKittyPaw rounded up the Top 25 Hallmark holiday movies of 2023 according to average reviews left by Letterboxd users.

According to SleepyKittyPaw’s stats, It looks like Hallmark could really be onto something this year. Hallmark films are typically known for their campy and fairly straightforward plots, but some of these movies proved to be seriously impressive according to the Letterboxd reviews they received. Multiple users said various films from Hallmark’s 2023 holiday slate were “the best Hallmark movie I’ve ever seen” or “an absolute standout” of the year.

As one user noted in their 4-star review of Round and Round, the Hanukkah-meets-Groundhog Day film is “the best kind of Hallmark movie makes you disbelieve what you’re watching is a Hallmark movie. Round and Round does that in spades.”
