Ousted New York Rep. George Santos will be sitting down with satirical comedian Ziwe Fumudoh, who teased their “bombshell” interview on Instagram over the weekend. So where can you watch it? What time does it air? We have you covered on everything you need to know.
Fumudoh’s interview comes on the heels of Santos getting expelled from Congress earlier this month following allegations that he misused campaign funds to purchase Botox treatments, Hermes bags and OnlyFans subscriptions. Santos has further pleaded not guilty to 23 federal charges, which include aggravated identity theft, wire fraud, money laundering and making materially false statements to the United States House of Representatives, among others.
The disgraced politician, who has since been charging hundreds of dollars for personalized messages on Cameo, announced last month that he wouldn’t be seeking re-election, calling the charges “a disgusting politicized smear that shows the depths of how low our federal government has sunk.”
In a clip posted to Fumudoh’s Instagram, she teases that a “jokester and a national joke” sit down together for an “explosive” new interview. The comedian further asks Santos — who she calls a “far-right nut job” — whether rich people are “stupid” and what we can do to “get you to go away.” Meanwhile, he wonders if she can be “mindful with the DOJ stuff,” to which Fumudoh replies, “What do you mean by ‘mindful?'”
