Demi Lovato’s ‘A Very Demi Holiday Special’ Coming Soon To Roku

Demi Lovato will be singing into this holiday season with a new Roku special. The former Disney star is teaming with the company to release A Very Demi Holiday Special, Deadline reports.

A Very Demi Holiday Special is expected to include performances of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” and “Jingle Bell Rock.”

Lovato previewed to Deadline that she will sing some songs from her newest album, plus old favorites from earlier releases. She will also sing a “surprise duet” and announce other performers within in the next two months.

“The holidays are such a special time of year, and I can’t wait to put my special twist on the celebrations,” Lovato said, per Deadline.

Lovato’s special is produced by OBB Pictures. She will executive produce the special alongside Michael D. Ratner, Scott Ratner, Kfir Goldberg, Simone Spira, and Todd Yasui.

Michael Tannenbaum, Head of Originals for Roku Media, also teased the seasonal release to Deadline, saying, “Together with Demi and the OBB Pictures team, we’ve created a truly fun and unique holiday experience for viewers to connect with and laugh over,” said Tannenbaum, “We can’t wait for audiences to unwrap this one-of-kind Roku Original special.”

This is not the pop-star’s first rodeo with Roku. Lovato previously hosted one season of The Demi Lovato Show on the streaming platform in 2021. The series was a talk show format that featured interviews between Lovato and guests like Olivia Munn, Lucy Hale and Jameela Jamil.

A Very Demi Holiday Special will premiere Dec. 8 on the Roku Channel.
