The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes
At last, the Hunger Games prequel The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is here! In this, the fifth film of the series, we follow the trajectory of a young Coriolanus Snow (played by Tom Blyth) to see just how he became the President of Panem. Assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler) the tribute from District 12, the film provides an origin story for the man who is the one constant in the series, a villain whose cruelty evolved over time.
Dream Scenario
In the A24 movie Dream Scenario, Nicolas Cage stars as Paul Matthews, a regular guy who starts appearing in the dreams of people all over the world. While at first he’s just a bystander, soon he becomes much more involved and the dreams start to affect Paul’s reputation and even his safety. The film, which is out Friday, co-stars Julianne Nicholson, Dylan Baker and Michael Cera.
