The Today ladies are back on the air after a long and restful holiday break, and they did not hold back when dishing on their 2024 resolutions and how they spent their New Years.
After Hoda Kotb asked Jenna Bush Hager how her holiday break went, Bush Hager replied, “It was good, it was good. It was relaxing, I got to be with my family!” They shared images from her social media that she shared over the weekend, which included some pictures of her smooching her husband of 15 years, Henry Hager.
“I love these pictures that you take, there’s so many,” Kotb commented. “Poppy’s faces always make me [laugh] because she’s so fun.”
But the next images showed Bush Hager and her husband sharing a kiss next to their three kids, with their oldest daughter, Mila, making a hilarious face.
“And we got to celebrate New Years and make out if you notice in that photo, Mila is just absolutely repulsed by her parents,” Bush Hager said as they shared a laugh. “So that’s how we started 2024.”
They then shared another picture of her and her husband kissing again, prompting Bush Hager to note, “Oh, I guess I did make out a lot over New Years.”
The Today co-hosts later shared the things they’re leaving behind in 2024 – which included low-rise jeans and their kids calling them “bruh” – and the things they’re going to try to do more of in the new year. For Kotb, that included dating.
“We’re into more dating,” Kotb said. “Why not? We need to date more.”
Bush Hager replied, “I mean I’m going to date one person. You can date a couple!”
Kotb’s dating life is a topic that Bush Hager is very invested in. There have been many moments on Today With Hoda & Jenna where the co-hosts gushed over Kotb’s prospective dating life, whether that’s talking about sliding into people’s DMs or dishing on previous flings.
“I can, and I will,” Kotb vowed. “This is the year of that. I think it’s time to just step into it.”
