‘9-1-1: Lone Star’
One of my favorite TV genres is Firefighter Drama; if you make a firefighter drama, odds are I’ll be tuning in, but I look forward to new episodes of 9-1-1: Lone Star the most. The Austin 126 Firehouse family is back for a fourth season, and it’s already promising next-level emergencies, crazy 9-1-1 calls, amped up drama, and more of the swoon-worthy romantic plots the series is known for. Rob Lowe leads Lone Star as Capt. Owen Strand, who relocates to Austin with his paramedic son (Ronen Rubenstein) to build a firehouse from the ground up in the face of tragedy, while dealing with PTSD and addiction. Season 4 is kicking off with one of the show’s signature Big Emergencies: a derecho — that’s a large and damaging wind-and-thunderstorm, for all you non-meteorologist types out there — will set the scene for 18 action-packed new episodes.
